Auticare ["we", "our", or "us"] values your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, share, and protect your information when you use the Auticare mobile application ["App"].

- Hashed Password
- Optional: Profile Picture, Bio, Address
1.2. Assessment and Usage Data
We collect non-personal usage information to understand how users interact with the App. This includes:
- Child’s behavioral responses
- Indian Scale for Assessment of Autism [ISAA] scores
- Progress tracking data
- Uploaded images and content [e.g., community posts]
Note: The App does not access GPS or real-time device location. You may optionally input your address manually in your profile.
2. Information Related to Children
Auticare is designed for adults [18+], but assessments may be conducted on behalf of children aged 2 and above.
- We do not allow minors to register or create their own accounts.
- Users must confirm they are legally authorized to provide information on behalf of a child.
- Data collected about children through assessments is stored securely and used solely for intended educational and therapeutic purposes.
We do not knowingly collect information directly from children. If we become aware that data was provided without proper consent, we will delete it promptly.
3. How We Use Data
Your information may be used for the following purposes:
- To create and manage user accounts
- To conduct and store autism assessments [e.g., ISAA]
- To track child development and assessment history
- To provide educational resources and learning materials
- To enable community features [e.g., sharing posts or images]
- To improve the App’s functionality, usability, and user experience
- To ensure compliance with our legal obligations and Terms of Use
4. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes. In the future, we may introduce optional features that involve collaboration with therapists or healthcare professionals. You will be explicitly asked to opt-in and provide consent before any data is shared for these purposes.

All user data is stored in Google Firestore, a secure cloud-based database.

Uploaded media [images, learning videos] is stored in Supabase Storage.

We utilize the built-in security features of these platforms [e.g., encrypted at rest and in transit].

At this time, we do not apply additional proprietary encryption, but we may implement such measures in future updates.
5.5. Retention Duration
We retain both personal and usage data:
- For as long as necessary to provide services

When data is no longer required, we delete or anonymize it using commercially reasonable methods.
Your Responsibility: You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. We recommend using strong passwords and changing them periodically.
